Masquerade - Authors

L.G. Keltner, Oddly Suited

L.G. Keltner has been attempting to write novels since she was six. None of those early attempts were any good, but her passion for writing remained strong. She graduated from Drake University in 2008, and she lives in Iowa with her husband and children. L.G. writes mostly science fiction, though she also enjoys writing humorous young adult stories.

Jennifer Lane, Behind the Catcher’s Mask

Psychologist/author (psycho author) Jennifer Lane invites you to her world of romance, sports, and suspense! By day she’s a therapist, and by night she’s a writer—she can’t decide which is more fun. Jen lives in Ohio and parlays her college swimming and volleyball experience into earnest characters striving for more in love and life.

Deborah Solice, Fearless Heart

Avoiding the trials of living in an ‘empty nest’, Deborah Solice chose to embark on teaching adventures in the Middle East and most recently in Russia where she teaches middle schoolers. Deborah writes both adult romantic suspense and YA/NA speculative fiction. To her credit, Deborah has two short stories through anthologies on the immediate horizon and has signed on to write five full-length novels, as well. So, stay tuned!

C.D. Gallant-King, The Dark Charade

C.D. Gallant-King wrote his first story when he was five years old, and he made his baby-sitter look up how to spell “extra-terrestrial” in the dictionary. He now writes stories about un-heroic people doing generally hilarious things in horrifying worlds. A loving husband and proud father of two wonderful little kids, C.D. was born and raised in Newfoundland and currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario. There was also a ten-year period in between where he tried to make a go of a Theatre career in Toronto, but we don't talk about that.

He’s self-published two novels, Ten Thousand Days in 2015 and Hell Comes to Hogtown in 2016, which was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence’s 2018 Self-Published Fantasy Blog Off contest. His work has appeared in the Dancing Lemur Press Anthology Tick Tock: A Stitch in Crime as well as volumes IV through VI of Mystery and Horror’s Strangely Funny series.

Elizabeth Mueller, The Cog Prince

Award-winning author Elizabeth Mueller lives in Texas with her husband, five lively children, five indoor kitties, a few outdoor kitties, seventeen chickens, and a horse named Hazel. While she enjoys homeschooling her kidlets, she thrives as a full-time writer of any genre that captures her heart.

Chelsea Marie Ballard, Remedy

A student of all things, Chelsea has turned her passion for flowery prose, angsty television, and biology toward her writing. She enjoys rare vines, quirky people, and a good love/hate story. This gold-ranking gamer lives in Bucks County, PA with her family, anxious dog, and fat cat.

Carrie-Anne Brownian, Charleston Masquerade

Carrie-Anne Brownian, who also writes as Ursula Hartlein, is a proud native Pittsburgher who lives and breathes all things historical. She has a degree in history and Russian and East European Studies from UMass–Amherst, and aspires to a Ph.D. in Russian history. Her stories always feature characters who are outside the norm in some way, and lots of Sturm und Drang.

Myles Christensen, Flower of Ronda

Myles Christensen writes exciting adventures in a variety of genres. His characters rarely avoid falling in love (or at least crushing on each other). For each new story, he makes a music playlist to match—and inspire—his writing. His mild-mannered alter ego is a product development engineer, university professor, and game inventor. He lives in Utah with his wife and children.

Anstice Brown, Sea of Sorrows

Anstice Brown has had her nose in a book and her head in the clouds for as long as she can remember. A geek/hippie hybrid with a love of all things retro, Anstice enjoys doodling, gaming and raving about books on her blog, Dusting the Soul. She adores speculative fiction and is currently working on a science fantasy novel.

Anstice has a BA in Literature and Philosophy and currently works as a school administrator. She lives on the East coast of England with her wonderful husband, daughter and their mischievous cat, Magical Mr. Mistoffelees.
